IPA Section UK invited applicants for appointment to the role of London Reception Officer (LRO), following the sad passing of Bob McCormack.

All applications were reviewed by the NEC at its recent meeting; the decision was taken to appoint Dipesh Dattani, a member of IPA Section UK, currently a serving police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service.

Clive Wood, President of IPA Section UK, wishes to place on record his thanks to all of our members who volunteered for the LRO role, along with his particular congratulations to Dipesh Dattani on his successful appointment.

The London Reception Officer role is an important co-ordination post, which handles a multitude of requests every year, from IPA visitors to the London area.

The NEC trusts that Dipesh Dattani will be able to count on the continuing support of members from all around the London area, to service requests for assistance from our many IPA visitors.

Servo Per Amikeco.

 Pete Connolly MBE,  Secretary General.
