Hertfordshire Branch of Region 9 is located north of London, in the region known as East Anglia. The county is situated just north of London. Hertfordshire was part of the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Branch until 2021, when they became separate branches.
There is plenty to do and see in Hertfordshire places of interest are Hatfield House a historic country estate which incorporates the Old Palace, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth I. Visitors can wander the rooms of the impressive Jacobean mansion, built in 1611 by the first Earl of Salisbury, as well as enjoy walking around the beautiful park, gardens and farm.
Lee Valley White Water Centre, Waltham Cross paddle in the footsteps of our Olympic heroes as you experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the course used at London 2012. Rafting, kayaking and canoeing are all on offer and beginners are catered for, so no experience is necessary.
