The iconic name of the New Scotland Yard Branch instantly brings to mind visions of London with its history and world renowned places of interest. As such the branch are constantly in demand from a variety of friends from around the world who are both visiting and inviting members to various events abroad. We have many close links with other countries and are twinned with Bielefeld in Germany with whom we are often arranging social events. The branch is keen to participate in international sporting events and have organised everything from five a side football teams to current cycling teams who represent the branch and create greater ties with our colleagues abroad.
The committee is formed of both serving and retired officers who meet regularly in London at the Civil Service Club and the Union Jack Club,and we welcome any members wishing to attend and join in.
