Glasgow, Lomond & Clyde branch covers a large swath of the west of Scotland, starting with the cultural and vibrant metropolis of Glasgow, and surrounding towns such as Greenock and Clydebank, area's steeped in shipbuilding and engineering history before continuing westward through the stunning scenery of the Lomond & the Trossachs National Park (featuring the spectacular Loch Lomond) and onwards over hill and glen passing through quaint towns and villages, each with their own unique attractions, to the coastal town of Oban, where ferry access to the islands are available.
Wherever you choose within the GLC boundry you will find a myriad of features and attractions which delight locals and visitors alike.
With such a large and varied area to serve, your committee are always interested in any suggestions on interests or activities, that you, its members and friends would like to be considered.
The branch reformed in 2021 and the committee are already busy considering a twinning possibility with friends in Upsalla, Sweden as well as planning activities for 2021 and beyond, the details of which will be promulgated in Police World as they are finalised.
