Between Monday 21st May and Friday 25th May 2018, 3 members of the Swedish I.P.A. all serving Police officers were hosted by fellow I.P.A.members in Lincolnshire.

The serving Police officers, all from the south of Sweden were:

  1. Gustav Graftrom 33yrs
  2. Thomas Idorn 38 yrs
  3. Daniel Hogberg 36yrs.

They arrived at Stanstead on the evening of 21st May and spent the next four, hectic days, in Lincolnshire, where they met and patrolled with local officers at Police HQ Nettleham, Lincoln City, and Skegness, and also visited the I.P.A. Headquarters at Fox Road, Nottingham.

They were hosted by I.P.A. members in Lincolnshire, Kieran English in Welton, Lincoln, Gemma Blore from Waddington Lincoln and Betsy Every from Sleaford. As well as spending time with local Police officers they were also entertained at Batemans brewery Skegness, completed a Ghost Walk around Lincoln and also had the opportunity of visiting a “wind tunnel” where they experienced an “adrenalin boost”

The photos show time at Skegness, at Lincoln H.Q where the Chief Constable, Bill Skelly, welcomed them to the County and made a presentation to them, Fox Road visit, and the wind tunnel.

At the end of the visit Thomas Idorn commented “It was a great experience, seeing how the UK Police work, and meeting with local members. We have been treated excellently and have a number of stories to tell back home! In some ways we in Sweden and the UK Police do face similar challenges.”
